The Bar Council has again commissioned the Legal Action Group (LAG) to provide an in-depth practical Equality and Diversity training course for members of chambers.
Courses are run in the evenings from the Bar Council’s offices in London and through the Circuits and are designed to assist participants to implement the Equality and Diversity Code in chambers. The course is based on the law, case studies and discussion of implementation strategies. It is open to all members and staff of chambers and will be particularly useful for chambers’ Equal Opportunity Officers.
The course is in two parts and delegates are expected to attend both sessions. Topics covered include:
Lecturers are barristers who are specialists in employment and discrimination law.
