As a Prosecutor at the CPS you will be responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. We are looking for lawyers who want to make a real difference to people’s lives. From fraud and firearms to public order and corporate manslaughter – the CPS works on all kinds of cases.

Your role as a CPS Prosecutor means you will be making the fair – sometimes unpopular – decisions that better society and make a difference in people’s lives. Your role is at the centre of delivering justice and you will have the freedom to use your judgement. Crown prosecutors and senior crown prosecutors work will include tasks such as advising investigations, preparing for prosecutions and presenting a wide range of cases working in the magistrates’ court – with senior crown prosecutors dealing with more challenging, sensitive cases and also preparing cases for the Crown Court.
