Applications are invited for the appointment of Her Majesty’s Solicitor General of the Isle of Man. Her Majesty’s Solicitor General will support and assist Her Majesty’s Attorney General acting as legal adviser in relation to matters of law and official matters which are relevant to the Island’s domestic and external interests.
Her Majesty’s Solicitor General will support and assist Her Majesty’s Attorney General in his representation of the Crown in the prosecution of offences on the Island. In particular Her Majesty’s Solicitor General will initially take the lead in managing the Advisory and Legislative Drafting Teams engaged in the Attorney General’s Chambers.
