Ref: 3867

Are you an experienced lawyer with an interest in moving into a University environment?

Do you want a rewarding career offering the chance to shape the next generation of professionals?

Are you excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic, progressive Law School with an outstanding track record of delivering excellent professionally focused legal education?

If so, we want to hear from you.

Based in one of the UK's largest legal hubs, in a great global city, Manchester Metropolitan University's Law School offers outstanding opportunities for experienced lawyers to play a fulfilling role in shaping and supporting the next generation of lawyers.

We value professional experience and so potential candidates will include qualified lawyers who demonstrate a commitment to obtain a teaching qualification and possess equivalent significant practice, even if they do not necessarily have teaching experience. The role will allow successful candidates to step away from the day-to-day practice while potentially maintaining links with the profession and currency of practice. We have a range of full-time, part-time, permanent and fixed-term opportunities available.

We have broad needs across Family, Criminal and Corporate areas of practice and are particularly interested in candidates with an understanding and interest in supporting the School's focus on digital technologies within legal and professional services, in addition to other exciting career development activities.

This is your chance to make a difference for generations to come and we'd love to hear from you.

Manchester Metropolitan University is committed to supporting the rights, responsibilities, dignity, health and wellbeing of staff and students through our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

We promote applications from all sections of the community, irrespective of background, belief or identity, recognising the benefits that a diverse organisation can bring and particularly encourage applications from groups which are underrepresented in the University workforce.

We recognise the benefits and importance of an environment that supports flexible working and are open to conversations about this throughout the application process.
