Personal Injury: Quantum Case. Accidents abroad, food poisoning. PSLA of £1,200. The claimant, an infant, suffered an acute gastrointestinal illness after a family holiday to Egypt. At the time she became slightly feverish, experienced diarrhoea and vomiting. Her gastric symptoms were relatively mild but, during the first two days of the illness, her mother had to change her nappy every hour. A full recovery was made after 14 days.
