The Joint Advocacy Group (JAG) has published the revised timetable for the implementation of the Quality Assurance Scheme for Advocates (QASA).
The scheme handbook will be published on 17 June 2013 and the accreditation periods will run as follows. Phase one – Midlands and Western Circuits – will run from 30 September 2013 to 10 January 2014. Phase Two – South Eastern Circuit – will run from 10 March 2014 to 13 June 2014. Phase Three – North East, Northern and Wales and Chester Circuits – will run from 30 June 2014 to 3 October 2014.
A programme of QASA events will be published in due course and details of the final scheme will be made available on www.qasa.org.uk.
