European Union – Public procurement. Article 10(g) of Directive (EU) 2014/24, as amended by Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/2170 should be interpreted to the effect that the notion of 'employment contracts', referred to in that provision, covered labour contracts, namely fixed-term, individual labour contracts which were concluded with persons selected on the basis of objective criteria, such as the duration of unemployment, previous experience and the number of minor dependent children they had. The Court of Justice of the European Union so held in a preliminary ruling in proceedings concerning decisions, taken by the respondent administration boards of public hospitals, to conclude a number of fixed-term labour contracts under private law in order to meet their needs in relation to catering, the provision of meals and cleaning.
