Employment – Unfair dismissal. The Employment Appeal Tribunal, in allowing the employee's appeal against the dismissal of his unfair dismissal claim following his dismissal on grounds of redundancy, held that the employment tribunal had omitted to deal with issues raised by the employee, including the question of whether the employer, by dismissing the employee without his entitlement to three months' notice, had deprived him of the benefit of a redeployment procedure in respect of appointments two weeks after his dismissal, and if so, whether the dismissal had been fair. The case was remitted.
