Immigration – Deportation. It was not possible to hold that the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) had arrived at a conclusion which had been insupportable on the evidence or otherwise perverse in allowing the respondent Columbian national's appeal against a deportation order. The Court of Appeal, Civil Division, in dismissing the appellant Secretary of State's appeal, further held that it was hard to contemplate how the tribunal could have demonstrated any greater focus on the public policy factors in favour of deportation.
