Parent and child – International child abduction. Court of Session: Granting a father's petition for an order for the return to Sweden of his eight-year-old daughter, who had been wrongfully removed to Scotland by her mother, the court concluded that while there was a risk that the child might be exposed to psychological harm on a return to Sweden, that risk had not reached such a level of seriousness as to be characterised as grave, adequate arrangements were available to secure her protection after her return, and notwithstanding that she objected to a return to Sweden a return was justified in all the circumstances.
